Goals Behind the Project

The objective of this project was to create a podcast episode featuring an interview and an advertisement.

My Role and Responsibilities

I was responsible for creating and editing the podcast, ensuring it met the project’s creative and technical requirements.

Challenges and Solutions

Editing the podcast to remove major imperfections while maintaining a natural flow was challenging. I experimented with different cut points and rearranged audio segments to achieve a smooth and cohesive final product.

Process Overview

1. Planning:

   • Developed an overall theme for the podcast.

   • Created an advertisement for a business.

   • Found a person to interview and prepared a list of questions.

2. Recording:

   • Recorded the interview and advertisement.

3. Editing:

   • Used Adobe Audition to:

     • Edit the interview to fit the required time frame.

     • Remove major imperfections without compromising natural flow.

     • Add an intro, music, and the advertisement.

       
       

Final Outputs and Results

• Gained hands-on experience in:

  • Creating audio commercials.

  • Podcast production.

  • Using Adobe Audition for audio editing.
